WE ARE CELEBRATING 8 YEARS

We are celebrating 8 years since I got the keys to Sligo first indoor Skatepark. It has come with its struggles and hard times to say the least, and we now need your continued support in all the great things we do here as I prepare to change the ramp area again for you guys.

It’s a damm shame that Sligo has no outdoor park at this stage, I spent my younger days campaigning for an outdoor park to no avail, so this blow doesn’t come as a surprise to me. I’d like to thank The Sligo Champion for the update article on it, and using my picture without a mention of Zero Gravity Skatepark. Any publicity is good publicity I suppose.

Obviously an outdoor skatepark is good for any town but with the amount of rain on the west coast it’s fundamentally crazy with an average rainfall of 250 days in Sligo. For the numbers they are spinning about with we would have a massive indoor national facility to suit beginner to Olympic levels.

I would highly recommend. My two boys did the easter camp this week and they loved it. It was well organised and Neville was very helpful. They learnt loads of new tricks. They will be back.

Great place to bring kids, my daughter brought 4 of her friends yesterday for her birthday they had so much fun and the staff are so helpful, I would recommend it for any kids birthday and such good value too.
